The law-lib archives, like many listserve archives, are publically available
on the web. Even without that, though, emails can easily be forwarded to
vast numbers of people with a few keystrokes or mouseclicks. It's a good
general rule to never say anything in email that you wouldn't be willing to
live with having printed on the front page of the New York Times.

I was very surprised to find that an email I had sent to this discussion
group in 2000came up on an internet search, along with my name, details
and email address. I dont think writers to the list expect their mail to
become internet accessible. Can the moderator or someone in charge tell
me what is the policy. Perhaps this was a temporary glitch ... hope so.
