In the late '90s, when I was contemplated applying to graduate school,
one of the factors that helped me decide to do so was the sharing and
helping I witnessed among the subscribers to this list. Once again, I
am a beneficiary of this, and want to thank Sheila Stone; Bob Ryan and
Jim Riley for having found this; and Lynn Merring for her kind offer to
help.

For those who might also want this, the opinion in Stephen Schlesinger,
Inc. v. The Walt Disney Company is available at
http://images.latimes.com/media/acrobat/2004-03/12011532.pdf.

Subject: Stephen Schlesinger, Inc., v. Disney

Hello -- Does anyone have a copy of this recent decision in Los
Angeles Superior Court? I believe it is captioned "Stephen Schlesinger,
Inc., v. Disney" (or something like that). A decision was rendered by
Judge Charles McCoy earlier this week concerning the Winnie the Pooh
character. We don't have an account with the court, and none of the
services have online docket or document access; to get this doc requires
a human being going to court. If you can fax or email to me, we will,
of course, cover your costs.

Many thanks.
