The interesting thing is that I just got a similar (maybe the same)
letter from a TX inmate requesting copies of five cases: Massey v.
Moore, Osborn v. Bank of U.S., Pacific R.R. of Mo. v. Mo. Pac. R.R.,
Peyton v. Rowe and Pruett v. Texas. Are these the same ones requested
by your inmate?

The letter I received was addressed to the County Clerk, but obviouslly
intended for the law library......curious, eh?

I have received a letter from a prisoner in Huntsville requesting case
law, because of what he characterizes as the limited legal holdings
available to him. Is there a State of Texas law library I can refer the
person to? I can't do it for him here in Oregon, but would like to give
him an informative reply. Surely Texas has some means for prisoners to
get case law without asking other states for help?
