The following CRIVGram has been posted to several listservs to ensure wide
distribution. We apologize in advance for the duplication.
CRIVGram - 3/17/04
The Practising Law Institute asked the CRIV to post the following
announcement about their new business system.

"Practising Law Institute would like to update its customers on the
following developments relating to its new business system:

1) Active PLI customers will be receiving letters shortly indicating their
new account numbers. If your library receives more than one letter and
would like to consolidate accounts, or if you do not receive a letter,
please contact Jill L. Porter, Director of Library Relations, via e-mail at
jporter@pli.edu.

2) PLI Course Handbook Series customers should be assured that the erroneous
invoices they received with their Course Handbook shipments have been
credited. This includes invoices for the book itself, the book and
shipping, and shipping only.

3) Former PLI Course Handbook Series subscribers who received Course
Handbook shipments in the past few weeks should contact Nickola Francis at
nfrancis@pli.edu for return labels. Any invoices you may have received in
connection with these shipments have been credited.

4) Treatise Standing Order Plan customers will not see their discounts on
their invoices until a system issue is resolved in the near future. In the
meantime, we are manually crediting related invoices for the appropriate
discounted amount. If you have any questions in this regard please contact
Josephine Vega at LibraryRelations@pli.edu.

We sincerely appreciate all of our customers' patience during this time and
apologize for any inconveniences. Thank you."

CRIV thanks Jill Porter, Director of Library Relations at PLI, for this
information.
