We have a student looking for current and historical statistics on car
ownership in the United States. They are looking for these statistics
by both race and gender. The 2000 Census has some statistics on access
to a car and this is certainly a start.
Does anyone know where statistics on car ownership may be compiled?
Statistics are not an area I am familiar with and any help would be
appreciated. Also perhaps there is a listserv that deals with
statistics?
