Yes, including the ones that tell you the attorney you just sent a
message to is out of the office, which could be important information.

I agree that having [LAW-LIB] in the subject would make life easier.
If nothing else, it is easier to set up the Outlook rules to move them
to another folder, and would include ALL law-lib messages, replies and
auto-replies. Or you can do what I do, and have the messages go to
another address altogether so as not to clutter up my work inbox!

Hi

Then create a rule that reads:
if email message subject line contains "out of office"
send to trash pile

This collects the majority of the out of office emails and deletes them
accordingly.

I sort mine by address, which is easy to do. All e-mails from this

list serve is the number of people who have auto reply messages that
they are not there.

I second this suggestion! With all the spam e-mails that come through
I tend to delete messages with no subject line or from a name I don't
recognize. Having [law-lib] in the subject line would help
tremendously in sorting incoming mail.

Subject for law-lib e-mails

Is there a way to have [law-lib] put in the subject for all incoming
law-lib e-mails? I am on several other listservs which have the name
of the list in brackets and it helps me to distinguish the list
messages from other types of messages. If this is not currently
available for this list, I would love for it to be a delivery option.
Thanks!
