RE: Subject for law-lib e-mails

In Outlook, using the Organize feature, you can also color code your
messages by the address in the "Sent To" field, e.g. law-lib. The way I set
it up is my messages from law-lib appear in red, to distinguish them from
other types of messages. This correctly identifies messages about 90% of
the time, because sometimes senders use aliases for the address.

But I still think having law-lib part of the subject heading is a good idea.
I also like the suggested idea of a rule to get rid of all those
Out-of-office messages. I dread them every time I post (including this
time).

I don't know if your e-mail client would do this, but in Outlook, I've set
up my Inbox to also display the "To" field of a message. That's what I use
to know whether a message is from a list.

I second this suggestion! With all the spam e-mails that come through I
tend to delete messages with no subject line or from a name I don't
recognize. Having [law-lib] in the subject line would help tremendously in
sorting incoming mail.

Subject for law-lib e-mails

Is there a way to have [law-lib] put in the subject for all incoming law-lib
e-mails? I am on several other listservs which have the name of the list in
brackets and it helps me to distinguish the list messages from other types
of messages. If this is not currently available for this list, I would love
for it to be a delivery option. Thanks!
