Hey all- I was talking with a friend and we started compiling a list of
the best "librarian-ish" gifts we got this holiday season. I invite you
to share info about your favorite librarianish gifts and I will post to
the list when they are all assembled. Include links if you can so that
if others are inspired to get this for their favorite librarian (or
themselves) they will know where to start.
I will kick off the list with my librarian gifts:
1. Brother P-touch
labeller-http://www.brother.com/usa/label/label_cntr.html - this thing
prints labels in different fonts, sizes, and colors. I must admit that I
brought this baby to work and am labelling everything that is sitting
still (and some things that aren't!). My favorite label so far is for a
co-worker whose electric stapler occasionally strays from her desk:
TOUCH THIS AND DIE. The stapler has stayed put these past few days....
2. Book Lover's Bracelet- Sterling silver and enamelled bracelet in
the shape of books. I am sure many of you have seen this in catalogs- it
is beautiful! I am considering having the word "Law" engraved on one or
two of the books.

3. Book stand from Levenger's - I often read while at the dining room
