About Us
<http://all.info/about/about.html>

This statement of purpose is well worth noting.

"All.info is a searchable directory of topics focused on web site
credibility. Our directory provides searchers with additional info
provided by the sites producer. This information helps our searchers
better find and evaluate sites.

All.info also runs the popular search resource center, SearchEngines.com.
Since June 2000, hundreds of thousands of users, search professionals and
members of the media have relied on SearchEngines.com as a collection of
top-quality information about searching.

When SearchEngines.com opened its virtual doors, search engines and
directories were still struggling with getting more relevant results.
Over the past few years, with Google as the standard, the relevance
rankings have significantly increased in quality. But as the Internet
gets larger and self-publishing gets easier, the issue of credibility is
becoming more and more important. Further, results in most search engines
are heavily skewed toward commercial listings. Figuring out which web
sites in the search results are credible, and which ones arent, has
become an overwhelming challenge.

All.info is the first search directory to tackle the issue of site
credibility in a scalable system. Aside from a proprietary ranking
algorithm, All.info uses the information provided by web site producers,
who know most about their sites, to help users better find and assess the
credibility of these web sites.

When a professor assigns a paper, or when a manufacturer is looking for
unbiased industry information, or a third-grader is trying to learn more
about math, All.info will help identify which information would be most
useful, relevant and credible."

It should be noted that this site is now a test site and that this is a
developing resource.

================================

Since this site is brand new, it is not well known at this time, being
just in the testing stage. That will drastically change, I predict, and
it will not take very long. Many thumbs up for a very well done
information directory resource.

Sincerely,
David Dillard
