Hi Everyone,
I am looking for the following article for a professor here at the law
school. Below is his memory of what he is looking for:
what I'm after featured the Androscoggin River on the cover of the
Magazine (Time, Newsweek, U. S. News--one of those--date mid- to late
60's) with the notation that it was one of the 10 most polluted rivers
in the country. There was also a feature story listing the other rivers
in this ignominious category.
I have searched the internet for a citation reference (and found what
we thought was the article but is not according to the professor). I
also had our public library check the local newspaper index as well as
the index for periodical literature, to no avail.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for your help!
