Has anyone else encountered the problem of receiving renewal information for Corporatecounsel.net and Section16.net? Our firm subscribes to a five person license. The e-mails are sent to specific members of the firm, not to the person responsible for renewals. The users are receiving notices that our subscription will be cancelled for non-renewal and asking why we haven't renewed.
When I contacted Executive Press, they said that they were unable to send renewal notices to anyone other than those listed as our five subscribers. They suggested that the billing person receive all five e-mail notices each time and forward them on to the real users. This is of course totally impractical and would be in violation of the agreement, since then six users would have access to the service. They also informed me that I am the only librarian that has complained about this, that everyone else is completely happy with this arrangement and that they cannot change their system.
Am I the only one who does not like this arrangement?
This is aside from the fact that they have had our money for the Section 16 treatise since April 1998.
They also do not have a toll fee telephone number for customer service.
