Summary of Court Costs

This is a long shot, but is anyone aware of studies done regarding court
costs, especially in the Federal District Courts? We realize that costs
vary widely depending on the length of the trial, the number of copies made,
the witnesses called, etc, but we're hoping to get some ball park figures.
Our pro bono client may end up having to pay costs if they don't agree to
settle, and they are concerned with how high those costs might be. I have
called the District Court in D.C. and while they were helpful in giving me
categories of costs, they do not keep statistics.

Thanks so much.
