Greetings:

A patron asked how long opening statements for the prosecution should be
in a criminal case. Checking the usual resource revealed guidelines for
the length of opening statements but no definitive answers. My sense is
that there is no definitive answer. Can anyone tell me, definitively,
whether there is a definitive answer?
