I had a call from Kathy at West with the answer to my question of
earlier today concerning pocket parts to 3 volumes of the FPD 4th that
were smaller than the year before's pocket parts.

West issued new bound volumes in 2001, but somehow some cases in the
bound volumes got repeated in the 2002 pocket parts. Those duplicate
cases were removed from the 2003 pocket parts which made for the smaller
size.

Thanks for all the suggestions I received, and to West for responding so
quickly.
