Would someone mind shedding some light on case reporting for a Texas
librarian?
In the Bluebook, under Supreme Court are listed three state publications in
addition to the regional reporter. A range of dates of publication is given
for the first one, Colorado Reports, but not for the other two--I interpret
that to mean that the dates of publication are the same for all three. Is
that correct?
Under the Court of Appeals: opinions from that court were published in
Pacific with some significant gaps--from 1906 to 1911 and then from 1916 to
1970. I expected the official reporter to cover those gaps, but it does
not--the same gaps are shown in the dates of publication. My guess is that
the legislature discontinued this court during those years. Is this true?
If not, where are those cases published?
Is there a handbook or guide to legal research for Colorado that you would
recommend?
Thanks.
