There used to be an online vendor here is Washington that focused on
Washington materials. The vendor offered us a special access program for
our law students (in particular, a MUCH less expensive subscription). We
presented the service as a low-cost alternative to the broader services,
LexisNexis and Westlaw.
I wonder if there are other low-cost alternative CALR services that other
law schools are offering their students through some special law-student
access program. I already know about the programs that are/have been
offered by Loislaw, Quicklaw America, and VersusLaw. My hypothesis is that
there may be other state-specific CALR vendors out there that hope to
attract customers by having a special law-student access program.
Thanks for any information you can pass along!
Nancy
