Here is a CDROM Database from the "Legaltreasure", Chennai, India. Statutes
of India is a complete collection of all Central Acts with Amendments (3491
Acts and 576 Frequently Referred Acts) for the years between 1834 and 2002
on one fully searchable CD-ROM. The full text of the legislation is provided
as originally enacted, with references to amending legislation. It is quick
to install, easy to learn, and extremely user friendly in operation.
Neatly classified into Imperial Acts (1834-1946), Dominion Acts (1947-49),
Acts of Parliament (1950 onwards), Prime - Acts and all Central Acts. The
four often referred Main Acts: 1. Indian Penal Code 2. Code of Civil
Procedure 3. Code of Criminal Procedure 4. Constitution of India are given
in the main menu bar itself to facilitate easy access.

options. Footnotes on the original Acts indicate the various Amendments
relevant to the Act.
Facility to search the database for the relevant Act by using just a
keyword related to the subject or a combination of keywords.
The Annotation facility helps one make notes on a particular Act for
retrieval and reference later on.
The unique Bookmark facility allows one to bookmark a section and return to
it at any point of time later
Timely updates to the information on a periodic basis.
Totally menu driven and user-friendly so that non-IT professionals can use
the product with no training.
