If would like a compromise between no mail and all the
individual messages, you might want to try digest mode,
which combines each day's messages into one digest message.
Please remember to postpone your list subscriptions if you
will be using an autoreply "Jane Doe is out of the
office..." message on your mail system, as people who post
to the list will get these messages from everyone who
forgets to do this.
And now the favor. Does anyone have an extra opening
reception ticket available at this (very) late date? I am
asking on behalf of a colleague who has already left for
Seattle. She (and her spouse) would be very happy if I were
able to get an extra ticket for her.
