Some time ago, I asked the members of this list if there was an English translation of the French Penal Code available anywhere in the Internet. The general consensus was that there was not ( I received a number of replies off-list in this regard).

Since then, the French government has posted an English translation of its French Penal Code in its LegiFrance site at the following address (at the time, this section of their site was still under development) :
