Thanks to all who responded - your input is really appreciated.

(1)Dave Bryant suggested www.ssa.gov

(2)Kathy Carlson stated "my favorites are the Tables put out by the National Center for Health Statistics which appears to be part of the Center for Disearse Control. The tables are found at http://www.cdc.gov/nchs/fastats/lifexpec.htm

(3)Steve Weintraub who stated "Lawyers & Judges Publishing, Tucson, has many Forensic Economic Books & Tables. A book Life & Worklife Expectancies is a good source for this information. Further information at the following string:
http://www.lawyersandjudges.com/products/forecon/lifeworklife.shtml
A catalog of books & tools is availalbe on the site at www.lawyersandjudges.com for download.

(4) Special thanks to Kendall Svengalis who not only included the R.I. statute governing the use of life expectancy tables, but only included the following comments:
The Life Tables are published in the Vital Statistics of the United States and are available in most federal depositories and are also available in "The United States Abridged Life Tables" (United States Department of Health and Human Services, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Center for Health Statistics). I had occasion to use them many trimes at the R.I. State Law Library since lawyers were frequently using those figures in personal injury and wrongful death cases. However, the statistics do not include Hispanic as a category because it is so amorphous a concept. My conversations with the folks who compiled the statistics told me that one must classify those who might be identified as "Hispanic" as white, black or other. Those are the only options.

Thanks again to all who responded.

Please let me know if you have a favorite source for life expectancy information. Specifically, I looking for a reliable source of current statistics on the life expectancy for an Hispanic male, aged 32. TIA.
