Volunteer a few hours of your time and help make the 2003 AALL Annual
Meeting a great success!
How can you help? Pick the activities that interest you most from the list
below:
--Bag Stuffing (9am-1pm on Friday July 11th)
See the conference materials first! Chat with friends. Lunch provided!
--Registration Desk (Fri. July 11 - Wed. July 16)
Welcome conference attendees. Distribute conference bags full of
informative materials. Put a face to the names of people in the law
library world! Shifts are 2 hours long and a Registration Committee member
will be available on each shift.
--Family Social Hour (afternoon of Sat. July 12)
Watch a magician entertain the children and adults! Staff booths with
carnival games. Set-up and take down equipment.
--Association Luncheon and Closing Banquet
Take tickets and seat individuals at these two events.
--"Coffee Talk" (the daily conference newspaper)
Write articles. Interview attendees and speakers. Put on that
writing hat!
If you are not planning on registering for the conference, you can get a
free pass into the Exhibit Hall as a thank you for volunteering! So please
encourage people you work with to volunteer a few hours. We welcome
librarians, library staff, and anyone interested in helping make this a
great conference!
