I teach legal professionals how to use the Internet. I've gone in-house to train attorneys, but have also done paralegal-only and secretary-only seminars at law firms and corporations--at the office or at their retreats--no attorneys present.
I have a friend who regularly gives Stress Managment seminars at law firms in Los Angeles--to staff usually (only occassionally to the attorneys!). I attended one once and really liked it--it was on how certain foods can affect your stress level--either stress it out more, or calm you down...She also has seminars on other stress management topics...Her name
is Gloria Albert---Wellnessworks is her company.
Ida Abbott (former attorney in Northern CA) gives seminars at firms on mentoring and other personnel issues.
Let me know if you want more details.

What kind of events, luncheons, seminars, etc. does your firm do for support staff, not just for Administrative Professionals Week but any time throughout the year. Any info. on support staff perks or professional development opportunities is appreciated! Thanks!
