I'd appreciate some tips on how others in law offices handle donations of old books from attorneys who then expect the old books to be added to the law library. This is a thorny issue, especially when the book has been superseded. Unfortunately, a formal collection development policy such as academic law libraries have wouldn't fly here. Thanks!
