I'm trying to find information on a case that involved the New York State
Education and Research Network (NyserNet) in which it agreed to pay the
federal government over 1 million $ for alleged misuse of federal grants.
This case as been discussed in the March 27 issue of the Chronicle of
Higher Education available at
http://chronicle.com/free/2003/03/2003032701t.htm.
The former president, David Lytel, filed the lawsuit in 2000 under the False
Claims Act.
Since NyserNet agreed to pay and denies at the same time any wrongdoing, I
understand that no written decision will ever be available. However, I'm
trying to get a hold of the papers, filings, court documents regarding the
case.
Can someone help me as where and how I can get such information?
thanks
