The Technical Services Special Interest Group Awards and Grants
Committee encourages you to apply for one of the several grants
available to cover the cost of registration for the Advanced Cataloging
Workshops in Seattle, July 11-12.
Applicants must be current members of the Technical Services Interest
section
Deadline for application is: April 18, 2003.
To apply please send an letter of application via e-mail, fax or regular

The letter should include:
1.) Current position and relevant previous positions.
2.) Estimate of expenses for attending the workshop, along with a
statement of home much financial support will be given by the
applicant’s employers
3.) Student members should indicate their expected graduation date
4.) A brief statement (200 words or less) explaining why you are
applying for the grant
5.) Two references supporting the application. These should be from
individuals who are familiar with your work or your interest in
professional development as a technical services librarian.
