Thanks for the information. The reports indicate that the site has been
severely hacked from folks here in the US. It is ironic that my user was
looking for some reporting to balance what was being given from US and UK
websites, but the access to that information was being denied by hackers
intent on limiting the free exchange of ideas.
I seem to be having a difficult time accessing other English language Arab
news sites as well.
Has anyone seen reports of other sites being hacked as well? Maybe they're
just getting too many hits as well.

I have read that on Monday the Al-Jazeera cable news network had launched an
English version of their website.
I am unable to find a link that works. Does anyone know of a working link
to it? If so, will you share it?
I'm starting to wonder if access is being blocked nationally.
