Last year in Orlando, the Roundtable adopted a set of goals for the kind
of interactions we would like to have with our CALR vendors. This
document, describing our _Ideal Relationship_ was drafted by the
Roundtable committee, composed of Mike Bushbaum, Suzanne Cassidy,
Stephanie Davidson, Margaret Leary, chair Nancy McMurrer, and Jane
Underwood. The committee received, and incorporated, valuable input on the
document from vendor representatives.
That Ideal Relationship document is now posted on the ALL-SIS website, at
http://www.aallnet.org/sis/allsis/calr_roundtable.html. Please note that
it is not a set of rules, but a working document, designed to be modified
by each school's librarians and vendor representatives to meet their
individual situations.
