Yes, BIP still has a lot of material that isn't available on Amazon. Remember
that Amazon is one company, so they don't have everything. I sometimes get
asked this question by my library science students; my response is that Amazon
doesn't have everything.

By the way, the version of BIP that we get has full-text reviews. I forgot to
say that in the last email message, so that is part of why it costs so much.
Our version includes (according to the description):

"More than 600,000 full-text reviews from leading sources, including:
Booklist, Boston Book Review, Boston Globe, Chicago Tribune, Choice, Doody's
Reviews, ForeWord Magazine, Horn Book Guide, Horn Book Magazine, Kirkus
Reviews, Library Journal, Los Angeles Times, New York Times Book Review,
Northern California Independent Booksellers Assn., Publishers Weekly, Quill &
Quire, Reference & Research Book News, San Francisco Chronicle, School Library
Journal, SciTech Book News, Toronto Globe, University Press Book News, USA
Today, Voice of Youth Advocates, Wall Street Journal, and the Washington
Post."
