Lesley--

Ves stands for Vesey, Senior's Ch. Rep. It is English. Source: Effective Legal Research (Fourth Ed.) , Price, Bitner, & Bysiewicz, 1979.

I've no idea where to find the case.

Subject: ? Old Case Cite

Hi, all--

An 1878 Supreme Ct. case cites to Benfield v. Solomons, 9 Ves. 83. Ves. is not in Bieber. I suspect it may be an English case. Does someone know what the cite refers to and <fingers crossed> where I might be able to find it?

TIA.
