Law-libbers,
Can anyone help pin down the source of the following quote (possibly
from US Supreme Court opinion): "A society will be judged by the ways
in which it treats its weakest citizens." The actual quote may vary
slightly.
I've tried Wexis, quotation databases and books, the Internet, etc. The
quote itself is used often, but never officially attributed.
Unofficially, I've seen it attributed to Hubert Humphrey, Gandhi, the
Bible, and more.
Thanks,
Bonnie
