I didnt realize this was so fascinating...;)) I have rec'd a ton of
inquiries as to the meaning of A. C.

A.C. = appeals cases

year - 1930

page 712 (it was a 1 page opinion)

from New South Wales (Australia)

I wont even ask why it was cited in a section of NJ Practice.

AND thanks to Sandy Keller (below) for letting me know the darn thing is
on Lexis in the UK Library!!! Since I had no clue that it was a British
case I would not have searched there.

I am sorry - in rereading my message I see that it was not very
clear - the case itself *is* on Lexis, at the Lexis Cite [1930] A C 712,
in the UK library, file ICLR, which has the various Law Reports case
series. Sandy

spelled wrong!! classic...

                        Rita:

I found this on Lexis, in the UK case law, Law
Reports. The case name is Gilmour v. MacPhillamy, the Lexis cite is
[1930] A C 712 . I recognized this as Law Reports, Appeal Cases, but
wasn't having any luck on party names (no wonder!), then tried "a.c. /3
712" and found it cited in another case.
