The AALL Committee on Public Relations is pleased to announce that we will
sponsor the 2003 AALL/West Excellence in Marketing Award." This award,
given in five categories - Best Brochure, Best Newsletter, Best Campaign,
Best PR Tool Kit, and Best Use of Technology - honors outstanding
achievement in public relations activities by individuals and groups of the
AALL. All members and institutions of the Association are encouraged to
participate. The deadline for submissions is February 14, 2003. Winners of
the Award will be announced in late spring.
The brochure and application form relating to the award were mailed out by
West to all members in December 2002. And such materials are also posted on
the Web site of the Committee on Public Relations at:
(http://www.aallnet.org/committee/pr/). Those who are interested in
participation may download both the brochure and application form from the
Web site if they have not received their mailings. The Grants and Awards
link of the site has information about winners of the award in the last five
years.
