Bessie E. Snyder was admitted to the New Jersey bar
in June 1921, and practiced in Newark until about
1938. We are trying to determine from what school
(if any) she received her law degree.
The Martindale Hubbell directory, though it lists
her, does not supply any school information for her
as it does for others. She is not included in
the Rutgers-Newark alumnae/i directory, which includes
our predecessor New Jersey Law School. I wonder if
others on this list at law schools which existed then
might be so kind as to check their alumnae/i directories
for this person. Leads to other biographical information
would also be appreciated.
