The CRIV has been asked to post the following message from Aspen
Publishers regarding a changed format in invoices. The CRIV thanks
Craig Garrett at Aspen for the clarification.
"We have received many inquiries regarding a new format of
invoices you may have received in the past two to three weeks from
Aspen Publishers. This reduced sized invoice was used only for those
standing orders shipped between December 12 and December 27, 2002.
These invoices were utilized only by an outsourced vendor providing
direct shipping from our various printers. These invoices were
utilized to ensure the timely release of various end of the year
materials. Any product releases mailed directly from the Aspen
Publishers Distribution Center in Maryland included invoices that were
printed on the standard 8.5" x 11" full page invoice format.
We will continue to utilize our standard formatted invoices in
our future shipments, but in order to ensure timely shipping and
receipt of time sensitive matter these reduced size invoices may again
be used if we ship material directly from the printer. The data and
remitting instructions provided on these invoices is identical to that
provided on the larger form it is just in a more compressed form. If
you are in need of a full sized copy of an invoice please do not
hesitate to request it by either emailing us at
