Well, this is getting even more confusing. Turns out I was right the
first time. Bowne's Red Box Service from 12/01-11/02 was $203. The bill
I received from from Bowne for my renewal for 12/02 to 11/03, WHICH I
PAID BACK IN NOVEMBER, was for $236. The invoice I've just received from
Aspen, WHICH IS FOR THE SAME RENEWAL PERIOD, 12/02 to 11/03, is for
$252. It seems that Aspen is charging Sales Tax while Bowne did not.
Why that should be is beyond my ken. I'm on hold with Aspen as we speak,
trying to get an explanation.
