The Index to Legal Periodicals is available online from
August 1981. In paper, the Index goes back to 1903. H.W. Wilson,
which publishes of the Index, is currently digitizing the older
records in some of its other indexes, but had not heard that there
was a demand for digitizing the older portion of the Index to Legal
Periodicals.
I am definitely interested in seeing the entire Index
online. I spoke today with Ron Miller, Director of Product Management
at H.W. Wilson. I gave him my opinion, and he gave me permission to
put his name and e-mail address on law list-servs. The company would
like to hear from other law librarians: do you want the entire Index
to Legal Periodicals online? If you do, please send an e-mail
