Anthony, need more information. Each state has it's own set of statutes
and just in comparing Ohio, Kentucky and South CArolina (the latter is
where I practice), each state is very different. English cases are only
persuasive unless your state's court of appeals or court of last resort
has adopted an english rule as binding. Now if you are talking about
atty fees in 1983 cases that's a whole different story.
