In response to Caren Luckie, Houston, Texas:
According to the Congressional Record Index, S. 3724, the Investment
Company Amendment Act of 1968, was accompanied by S. Rept. No. 90-1351
(report can be found in vol. 12792 Pt. 3 of the U.S. Serial Set). It was
passed by the Senate on July 26, 1968 and the text of the bill as passed
can be found beginning at 82 Cong. Rec. 23544 (1968). Section 20 (page
23549) concerns injunctions against the breach of fiduciary duty involving
personal misconduct. This provision, which amends section 36 of the
Investment Company Act of 1940, was largely enacted by section 20 of Public
Law 91-547, the Investment Company Amendment Act of 1970. See 15 USC sec.
80a-35 (http://www4.law.cornell.edu/uscode/15/80a-35.html).

**Cross-posted, please excuse the duplication.**
I'm trying to locate a U.S. Senate report from 1968. The cite that I have
is: "Senate Report at 34, S. 3724, 90th Cong., 2d Sess., §20 (July 1,
1968)". The report is cited in a couple of federal cases. As far as I
have been able to determine, the bill did not pass (at least I can't find
it in USCAAN), and of course it's too old to be on Thomas.
If you happen to have the report, could I borrow it or get a copy, please?
(It's too wet to walk down to the public library and check their govt. docs
today!)
Thanks very much!
