I selected at random about 7 titles from the collection published by CCH,
Matthew Bender, West, Aspen, and compared the renewal prices from 2001 and
2002 to determine the percentage increases. Then I took the average of all
the percentages and came up with 12.29% average increase. I used 12% for my
budget. When I polled a few in Ohio, it seemed that the increase ranged
from 8-10%. I would be interested in hearing what others used.

Subject: 2003 Budget
Hi everyone,
Yes, it's budget time again. Just wondering what percentage librarians were
using to increase their budget for 2003 (in the firm setting). Any ideas?
Thank you in advance,
Christine
