Greetings:
I encourage law librarians who keep track of fugitive federal documents
(i.e. documents that should be distributed to depository libraries, but
are not), to please respond to Duncan Aldrich's query below. I think
fugitive titles from US Dept. of Justice would be particularly helpful.

Subject: Furtive Documents?
Hi All:
I know this topic raises its head on a regular basis - I'm hoping to find
someone out there who remembers who has worked on this in the past, or who
has collected some sort of list of federal government fugitive document
titles
in tangible formats, such as print, CD-ROM, diskette, or fiche (not
interested
now in Web-based documents). I wonder, for example, whether any of you
who have
worked with the GODORT agency liaison program have itemized fugitives.
I'm currently involved in a project for which having a "sense" of what
documents are fugitive would be very helpful. Of course, I would also be
interested in collecting titles of any individual fugitive documents you
are
aware of -- sort of a list of everyone's "favorite" fugitive document!
And
currency is not an issue, anything from circa 1990 to the present is fine.
Bottom line, I am trying to affirm that there actually are "fugitive
documents," that they are not just a myth. And that is the challenge -
can
we prove the reality?
Thanks in advance for all assistance.
