Hello Heather,

Our web site at http://www.courts.state.ny.us/queenslib/queens.htm
has an Access to Justice link from our home page , we have linked to
two major web sites
http://www.lawhelp.org/ny/ and
http://www.probono.net/

both sites have been very well received by legal services advocates in NY.

Also, I would recommend law.com/ny
NY Courts & Law Guide at
http://www6.law.com/ny/guide/

and

The New York Court System's
Public's Guide to the Courts at
http://www.courts.state.ny.us/pubinfo.htm

Hope this helps.

Hello.

Can anyone recommend articles or URLs that would be useful for
non-lawyers seeking information on substantive law issues on the
Internet? Our local bar foundation is pulling together resources for a
self-help legal access center. Primary areas of concern are consumer,
landlord-tenant, family, criminal, bankruptcy, estate planning, elder
care, etc.

Thanks in advance.
