Although the price is still higher than a regular Lexsee or Lexstat at least it's less than a search charge now. See Stephanie Pierson's posting this morning re Lexis Table of Contents Linking Charges. I received the same info from my Lexis rep.

Hi, everyone.

Remember in the beginning of August there were some messages flying around about the new pricing for Lexis' Enhanced Table of Contents linking? Well, looks like Lexis heard us and responded (quite promptly, I might add)! I received this message, forwarded by my very diligent and wonderful Lexis rep., Lila Gyasi, yesterday:

"Thank you for your recent feedback regarding Enhanced Table of Contents pricing. We are pleased to inform you of price decreases for this feature. Effective Sept. 1, 2002, document linking charges from the Enhanced Table of Contents (identifiable by a blue hypertext document link on lexis.com) will decrease to $5.50 for statutory content and $15.00 for analytical content. LexisNexis is committed to keeping customers informed about products, pricing and other pertinent issues, and always appreciates your feedback."

That seems much more reasonable to me. What do you all think?? If nothing else, I truly appreciate that Lexis listened and took action to keep its loyal customers satisfied. It really is amazing what we can do when we put our minds to it! Yea for us!!

Have a great day!!

Stephanie

I, too, have complained about the problem a couple of times to Matthew Bender, and have not had it resolved. Most of our users now go to the LEXIS version of the MB title they need - which is probably what LEXIS/MB wants to have happen anyway.

Is anyone else experiencing problems with the hyperlinks on this website? For example, when someone is using one of the indexes (in this case Nimmer on Copyrights), and they click on a hyperlinked topic, the link takes the user to the "Subscribe to Authority on Demand" page, rendering the index useless. I've called technical support a few times, but they haven't been able to correct the problem. This isn't good since we pay a lot of money for these products and I've got some angry end users I'm forced to deal with. Just wondering if anyone else has complained to Matthew Bender and if so, did they resolve the issue for you?
