We just received Evidence Rules Annotated, 3rd edition. This includes
volumes 2B, 2C, and 2D of New Jersey Practice Series. It apparently
supercedes Court Rules Annotated. Evidence Rules, 2nd edition. That 2nd
edition includes vol. 2B and 2C (both 1994). However, we also have a
soft-covered vol. 2D titled Court Rules Annotated. Trial Lawyer's
Manual, 2002 edition. This is an annual publication (for which we have
back to 1999).
There were no filing instructions included with Evidence Rules
Annotated, 3rd edition. I've checked the West Group Website several
times and did not find any filing instructions there either.
So... how should vol. 2D in this 3rd ed. be handled? Does vol. 2D in
the 3rd. ed. replace vol. 2B and 2C of Court Rules Annotated. Evidence
Rules, 2nd ed. AND vol. 2D, 2002 ed., of Court Rules Annotated. Trial
Lawyer's Manual? The new 3rd ed. vol. 2D does not say "Trial Lawyer's
Manual" as found on the 2002 ed. of vol. 2D. In the 3rd ed. preliminary
pages, the list of titles in New Jersey Practice Series (p. iii)
includes Court Rules Annotated. Trial Lawyer's Manual, which makes it
look like a current publication and not a superceded one. OR do we
retain the 2002 ed. called vol. 2D AND add the 3rd ed. that also
includes a vol. 2D? If so, how would you shelve them?
Any ideas? Did anyone else receive filing instructions? I'd
appreciate any assistance offered.
Thanks in advance,
Colleen
