A law clerk here needs a superceded volume of CJS. She has called West and
they do not have the volume she needs. She has done a manual search without
success for language like "portable personal effect in the immediate
possession of their immediate owner." Virginia Judicial Branch no longer has
Westlaw so we can not search the current CJS online to determine if the
information she wants has been placed elsewhere. The section needed is 79
CJS 832 Searches & Seizures sec. 66(c) from a volume that was on the shelf
in 1963. The case that cites the section was handed down in 1963. The
present volume does not appear to contain the same language -- Can someone
please provide me with a photocopy of the above section.
