RE: Progressive Business Publications

I received several responses from people who have also received invoices,
dunning letters and even calls from collection agencies for newsletters they
didn't order from this firm, as well as many other e-mails regarding the
kind of tactics "Progressive" Business Publications and similar firms use.
PBP has an aggressive telemarketing program and apparently has an extremely
loose concept of what is an approval of a purchase. Bottom line, don't take
their word that you or someone in the firm did in fact order the item. Some
freebies you get in the mail that you don't want, you can just ignore. Make
sure to cancel anything you get from these people.

Unless any of the people who contacted me prefer that I don't, I'm going to
forward your e-mails to the CRIV.
