Today's toughie:
Does anyone know under what statute(s) the New York City Economic Development Corp. was formed? I found the organization's web site and think it may have been created under sec. 1411, Local Development Corporations, of McKinney's Not-for-Profit Corporation law. I checked the session laws, NY regs., searched for articles, without an answer. There is no mention (that I could find) in the index or popular name table to McKinney's. I'd prefer not to contact the corporation at this time.
If you have knowledge of this corporation, please let me know. Thank you.
