Web Search--U.S. Government
The New FirstGov.Gov Database of U.S. and State Government Material is Now
Online

The new database is built and powered by FAST Search and Transfer. FAST also
provides the AllTheWeb engine. The database can be accessed by using the search
box on the upper left corner of First.Gov (http://www.firstgov.gov) or by using
the advanced interface at: http://www.firstgov.gov/fgsearch/index.jsp

*The Advanced Interface Contains the Ability to Limit to Material from a
Specific State Government, the Federal Government, or Both
*Limit to a Specific Domain
*Limit to Terms in the Title, the URL, and/or the Text

****Other Formats: The New FirstGov Database Contains Adobe Acrobat (.pdf),
Word (.doc), Powerpoint (.ppt), Excel (.xls), and Text (.txt) Files

Note to FirstGov: Kudos on Making these Formats Available. Providing an Option
to Limit by Format Would Be Very Useful.

cheers,
gary
