The CRIV is posting the following message from LexisNexis Matthew Bender to inform the library community of the completion of their billing integration and a name change.
Fulfillment and Billing Integration Is Now Complete
Matthew Bender has completed the integration of the order fulfillment and billing systems. All Matthew Bender, Michie and Shepard's accounts are now managed through one system. Now only one phone number is needed to call Customer Service: 800-833-9844
As a reminder you can now combine all or some of the accounts you have for Matthew Bender, Michie, and Shepard's products. However, we will not consolidate any accounts without a direct request from you. Please note that due to an already overwhelming number of requests and the personalized nature of the consolidation process, our representatives are currently faced with a backlog of eight weeks. Name Change
As of April 2002, the brand on your invoices appears as "LexisNexis Matthew Bender". Matthew Bender & Company, Inc. is now doing business as LexisNexis Matthew Bender. Checks for print and CD products should now be remitted in the name of LexisNexis Matthew Bender. This address has not changed and is as follows:

Our Federal ID# has not changed. It will remain 14-0499170.
Title page information will change from the current "LexisNexis" brand to "LexisNexis Matthew Bender" brand. The copyright information will remain the same, with Matthew Bender & Company, Inc. as the copyright holder for Matthew Bender and Michie titles, and LexisNexis, a division of Reed Elsevier Inc. as the copyright holder for Shepard's publications.
