Apologies for cross-posting.
The AALL Special Committee on the Future of Law Libraries in the Digital Age
has just concluded a week-long listserv discussion, sponsored by the
Professional Development Committee. The Futures Committee drafted a number
of scenarios that present several possible visions of the law library of the
future. These scenarios formed the basis for the listserv discussion.
The Futures Committee requests your feedback as we prepare our final report.
If you are concerned about the future of law libraries, please take the time
to review the scenarios and send us your comments.
The scenario drafts are available at:
<http://www.aallnet.org/committee/scenarios.asp>.
All messages from the listserv are available at:
<http://aallnet.org/pipermail/prodev/Week-of-Mon-0020513/date.html#start>
We welcome your thoughts and ideas on the scenarios and/or the issues raised
in the listserv discussion. Please send your comments to Rita Reusch
(<mailto:reuschr@law.utah.edu>) by June 3. You will hear more about the
Futures Committee's final report at the AALL Annual Meeting and Conference
in Orlando in July and afterward.
Thank you for your help.
