I saw it, too. At first I thought it was great, but then I wondered about her comment of "if it's not here, it doesn't exist." She really didn't even try to find it. Maybe she'd had too many Jedi patrons who didn't really know what they were asking for.

Subject: Another librarian in the media

It's Friday, so I guess that I can get away with this. I saw Star Wars II last night, and it featured both a library and a librarian. Now, I'm not sure if it is a positive depiction or not. On the one hand, she was an older woman who got offended when the patron suggested that information was missing from the library. On the other hand, she was a *Jedi* librarian. Images of lightsaber duels in the stacks dance through my head. :-)

So, take it for what it's worth.
